Privacy Notice
What this website collects when you send an enquiry, why we use it, who may receive it and how long we ordinarily keep it.
This notice applies to the Finstep Solutions website and its enquiry forms. The registered proprietorship is held by Raginee Kumari. The current consent wording recorded with website enquiries is version consent-v2.
What we collect
When you submit an enquiry form, we collect only information needed to understand and respond to the enquiry:
- Your name and mobile number
- Your email address, if you choose to provide one
- Your city and loan type, and approximate loan amount where provided
- Your employment or business type, where provided
- Any message you write to us
- Your privacy acknowledgement, its version and timestamp
- The page you submitted from, referral information, campaign parameters such as UTM values, and advertising click identifiers such as gclid/fbclid where present
- The date and time your enquiry was received
Sensitive documents and credentials
This website does not provide a document-upload facility and its initial enquiry form does not ask for Aadhaar, PAN, salary slips, bank statements, tax returns, property documents, card details, banking passwords or one-time passwords.
A genuine loan application may later require identity, income, banking or property documents to be provided through a separate, verified process to Finstep Solutions, an authorised channel participant or the relevant lender. We will never ask you to share a banking password, card PIN, UPI PIN or one-time password with us.
Loan calculators
The EMI, eligibility and balance-transfer calculators run in your browser. The financial figures you type into a calculator are not stored as a lead unless you separately submit an enquiry form.
Why we use your information
- To respond to the loan-assistance enquiry you submitted
- To contact you about that enquiry by phone, WhatsApp or email
- To assign and follow up the enquiry within our team
- To assess which lender or channel may be relevant to your request
- To keep an operational history of the enquiry and its outcome
- To understand which campaign or page generated the enquiry
We do not sell your information as a customer list and we do not add you to unrelated marketing without an appropriate separate basis or consent.
Who may receive your information
Authorised Finstep Solutions staff can access enquiry records through the secured administration area to handle your request.
Because our service is loan assistance and facilitation, the information you provide may also be shared, where relevant to the service you requested, with banks, NBFCs, DSAs or other channel partners so that your eligibility or application can be discussed and processed. Website consent expressly covers this purpose.
Hosting, database and email providers may process information on our behalf only as needed to operate the website and business systems.
Analytics
Where analytics are enabled, we use privacy-safe page and event information to understand website usage and advertising results. Names, mobile numbers, email addresses, enquiry messages and other customer-identifying lead information are not sent as ordinary analytics event parameters.
How long we keep enquiry records
Enquiry records are ordinarily retained for 24 months after the enquiry is closed or after the last meaningful interaction, after which personal details are removed or anonymised.
Backups can retain a copy until the relevant backup rotation expires. Records may be kept longer when reasonably required for a legal obligation, accounting requirement, dispute, fraud/security investigation or another legitimate business need.
How information is protected
The website uses HTTPS in production and the administration area uses authenticated sessions, server-side access control, rate limiting and multi-factor authentication. Passwords are stored as one-way password hashes rather than plaintext. No service can claim perfect security, so we maintain layered controls and operational procedures appropriate to the information held.
Your choices and requests
You may ask what enquiry information we hold about you, request a correction, or request deletion where applicable. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where a legal or legitimate business reason requires it.
Contact
For a privacy, correction or deletion request, please contact Finstep Solutions.
Changes to this notice
If the enquiry consent wording changes materially, the application records a new consent version so we can identify which wording applied when an enquiry was submitted.
